"Passed by this gem on the way to Sprouts and saw they had surreys for rent and decided it would be a good addition to our trip! No regrets because it was so much fun! We took our puppy in the basket with a blanket laid out for her. We biked to the beach lookout down the street and all the way to the ice cream parlor nearby all within an hour rental!"

"Came here after visiting two other bike shops because this place has the best selection of bikes! We wanted a tandem and they are the only place that has them. The check in process and paperwork was smooth and easy and we got on our tandem in no time."

"Electric Bikes! Telling my husband to give up that Segway dream (it ain't happenin' Joe!) because this is the way to travel. We had a gorgeous day, helpful guy at the Bike shop and fun morning cruising and biking around neighborhoods, parks and the lake. Great birthday surprise for our girl Sheryl!"

Do I need to make a reservation in advance?

While walk-ins are welcome, we recommend booking in advance, especially during weekends and holidays to guarantee availability, particularly for DeLuxe E-bikes and Fat Tire E-bikes. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. If you are less than 24 hours, simply come in and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Are helmets required?

Helmets are required for riders under 18 and for all throttle equipped e-bikes such as Fat tire e-bikes, Power e-bikes and Cargo e-bikes, but we strongly recommend to use a helmet for all bikes. We provide them free with every rental.

Can kids ride their own bikes or ride along with an adult?

Yes! We have kid-sized bikes as well as trailers, tag-alongs, and child seats so the whole family can enjoy the ride together. Kids under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

What types of bikes do you offer for rent?

We offer a wide range of top brand bikes like Aventon, Fuji, or BESV, including all-trail and comfort e-bikes, power e-bikes, fat tire e-bikes, cargo e-bikes, and surrey bikes for two to four adults (plus a couple of young kids!), kids’ bikes, road bikes and tandem bikes. A variety of accessories, such as child seats and picnic baskets, are also available. Find more details on What bike is appropriate for you in that article.

Are Electric Bikes difficult to ride?

Not only Comfort e-bikes and DeLuxe e-bikes are not difficult to ride but they make it easier, for example to get the bike going at a green light, to climb a hill, or to go much further than on a regular bike with a lot less effort, thanks to the power assist. Power ebikes and especially fat tire e-bikes are more powerful, heavier, and should be handled with care.
